Take Back America exists to make liberalism cool again.
The problem we're working on isn't a policy problem or an electoral problem. It's a reach problem. Large numbers of Americans, particularly younger Americans and particularly young men, aren't hearing from members of Congress, parties, advocacy groups or traditional media. They're hearing from creators, streamers, podcasters and comedians.
The old model assumed politicians and campaigns could talk to voters directly. Increasingly that assumption is just wrong, and you cannot persuade people you cannot reach.
So we identify, develop and elevate credible voices who can carry liberal values into communities conventional political organisations struggle to enter: through debates, live events, street conversations, and the creators we work with. The goal isn't better political advertising. It's better messengers.
Take Back America is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization.
What we don't do
Not a campaign
We don't run candidates and we don't do electoral work. We build messengers, not ballots.
Not a think tank
The argument has already been written down. Our problem is that the people who need to hear it never will.
Not a consultancy
We don't sell advice. We find the voices, back the work, and put it where the audience already is.
